Adarose (Brisbane, Australia)
Adarose is Charlie Koranias (Vocals and piano) and Scott Couchman (Guitar and backing vocals). Since their senior years at high school they have been performing together, writing and composing their own unique blend of pop and rock. Adarose has just recently finished recording their first EP under the wings of the boys at R&D Records. The self-titled debut for this band features five exceptional pop rock tracks, as well as a studio live acoustic track.
Charlie and Scott have both been performing since a young age. Charlie has starred in numerous theatre productions, musicals, and concerts; while Scott’s childhood and teenage years were spent air-guitaring in his bedroom to the likes of My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and Green Day. Charlie’s classically trained voice soaring high over Scott’s heavier guitar riffs makes for quite a unique sound.
The band’s influences include The Used, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Theart, Fall Out Boy, The Birds of Tokyo, as well as all great musicians and everyone one around them.

Words Versing Verses (Brisbane, Australia)
Throughout life there are times when you need to follow your heart and let whatever comes of it, just happen. When vocalist Damion Page (Ex Avalon Drive) paired up with guitarist Kevin Leggett in 2009, the Brisbane duo had no idea that this was the journey they would in fact take.
Coming from varied music backgrounds and many years of experience in the industry, the two experimented with different sounds and acoustics to create the original and organic sound of ‘Words Versing Verses’.
“All of our old things, all of our roots have brought us to doing what we are doing now. We haven’t just abandoned everything. We’ve just kind of moved on from it and taken what we’ve learnt. I think this is more of a release for us.”
In March 2010 the duo made the major decision to head to Brisbane’s R & D Records to work with producers Ric and Darran Parker and start production on the self-titled EP.
“The ideas just seemed to pour out of us. We wanted such a raw emotional sound and we soon learned it was better to stay with our initial spontaneous ideas. We didn’t want these ideas and stories to become over produced and lifeless.”
“We are really excited about this EP release, touring and seeing what people get out of it.”
Wish For Wings (Brisbane, Australia)

Since bursting onto the scene with their heavy guitar riffs and endless touring, WISH FOR WINGS has become a well known name, not only in their home state of Queensland, but right across Australia and beyond. Their fast pace and high energized live shows got kids wanting more, which Wings delivered again and again.
2008 saw the release of their first full length album “Afterlife” consisting of thick guitars, a tight and furious rhythm section and a brutal vocal attack. The album also brought WISH FOR WINGS into a new light of melodic elements, epic choruses and loads of sing-a-longs that got the listeners hearing a more focused and mature sound.
WISH FOR WINGS have grown their fanbase by keeping themselves busy on the road with a relentless touring schedule. Late 2008 through late 2009 saw the band headline 3 tours in less than 12 months, starting with a 70+ date summer tour of Australia and New Zealand in support of the new album. April 09 brought the ‘Death Before Disco’ mini tour to the North Coast and the Winter Tour rocked Australia from June through to August.
Now in 2010 the boys are back and working harder than ever.
April will see them head out again in support of the ‘Mistake’ tour playing alongside Confession, Thy Art Is Murder and Lovers Grave.

Motive (Brisbane, Australia)
In the early months of 2009, the band Motive was born. Whilst studying Music at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Mason Guild, Jake Barros and Jared Cera were given the opportunity to witness each other’s own musical originality. From seeing this, each of the guys was interested in taking their own enjoyment for music to a different level and experience, thus forming and creating Motive.
Through different influences and musical tastes the band started the journey to find their sound. Motive actually began with an acoustic rock sound before moving into more funk filled patterns. As timed has progressed the band has settled on more of an Indie Rock style, with a hint of funk behind their riffs.
From this collaboration the boys look to taking their musical works seriously, whilst still maintaining the enthusiasm to goof off every now and again. Their individual personalities, combined with their musical skill and knowledge, complement each other, resulting in a high level of communication and creativity. This allows for the easy flow of one musical idea becoming a full working song.
